About Dyersburg, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Dyersburg, the county seat of Dyer County in northwest Tennessee, is a city of about 17,500 residents. It was selected as one of the nation's top “micropolitans”, urban areas whose populations do not exceed 50,000, by “Site Selection” magazine in 2012, and also chosen as one of the nation's 50 Best Small Southern Towns by Peachtree Publications. Dyersburg, which calls itself the gateway to Middle America, serves as a cultural, retail, medical and employment center for more than 300,000 people in the Tennessee, Arkansas and Missouri tri-state area. The town was first laid out in 1825, soon to grow into a booming river port and later branching out into the lumber industry. By the early 20th century, Dyersburg was a railroad hub, and during WWII housed an emergency landing strip. Dyersburg Regional Airport is known as the site where country singer Patsy Cline and her entourage stopped to refuel their Piper Comanche for the last time in March of 1963, before the plane crashed a few minutes later and killed everyone on board. Dyersburg is also the birthplace of legendary clown Emmett Kelly, Jr.

Dyersburg winters aren't too cold, and there's seldom much snow, but summers can be hot and muggy. Events throughout the year include a Fourth of July fireworks celebration held at the Dyer County Fairgrounds, the BBQ Fest cooking contest in July, the Dyer County Fair in early September, the Main Street Fall Festival in late September and the Main Street Christmas Parade in December.
